Curtis Greene

Curtis Greene has over 19 years of law enforcement experience which include providing security services to individuals in the private sector.  Mr. Greene currently offers his services in Executive Protection and Event Security. He is also a Certified Instructor, training in the areas of Taser, MACE, ASP, Handcuffing, RAD (Rape Aggression Defense for Women), Tennessee Unarmed Guard and Active Shooter.

Mr. Greene’s professional experience includes his current role as an Assistant Chief with the Chattanooga State Police Department where he is assigned to the supervision of Campus Police Officers and Institutional Security Officers. Mr. Greene has developed a hiring and training program aimed at maintaining an effective Campus Police Department by fostering and cultivating community relationships on campus and off. In his capacity, Mr. Greene also provides Executive Protection for high profile personnel visiting the campus and acts as Chief of Police on an interim basis. Mr. Greene received a Life Saving Award for an act of valor during his employment at Chattanooga State.

Mr. Greene began his law enforcement career with the Chattanooga Police Department where he spent nine years. Throughout his time with CPD he held numerous positions.  After two years of service in patrol he was promoted to an Investigator with the Gang Task Force Unit. In this role he was responsible for investigating gang activity within the city of Chattanooga and conducting seminars on gang prevention. After his tenure with the Gang Task Force he was assigned to the Street Crimes Unit, investigating street level narcotic activity, executing search warrants and locating fugitives for the Major Crimes and Property Crimes Divisions.

Mr. Greene held a position as a Criminal Investigator for the Chattanooga Housing Authority where he managed the day to day operations of patrol officers, maintained a presence in the community and provided a safe environment for residents. During his tenure with the Chattanooga Housing Authority he was also the lead trainer on search warrant procedures and executions. Mr. Greene received Special Deputation Appointment for The U.S. Department of Justice (United States Marshals Service).

Mr. Greene was previously employed by Sears Holdings Corporation as the Safety/Asset Protection Manager. He maintained an effective work environment by fostering relationships between the Asset Protection Team and other staff to create a winning environment in which employees worked together to reduce theft. In his role, Mr. Greene initiated thirty internal theft cases that resulted in prosecution and termination of employment of those involved. He developed a plan to reduce loss which resulted in a decrease in shortage of over 90%.

Mr. Greene’s specialized training includes Jail Basic Training, Narcotics Identification, Risk Management for Narcotics Officers, Advanced Confidential Source Management, Ethics in Drug Enforcement, S.W.A.T School, Basic Narcotics Investigations, Surveillance Equipment Engineering, Field Tactical Patrol Ops, Detective and New Criminal Investigator, Multi-jurisdictional Counter Drug Task Force, Cultural Diversity, Deviant Group, Movement, Cults and Religions, Interview and Interrogation, Kinesics Roadside and Field Interview Techniques, Street Gang Identifiers and Prosecution, Officer Survival Response to High Risk Calls, Campus Crime Prevention, Concealed Handgun and Instructor Development. Mr. Greene also attended ICON Close Protection Course: Protecting the Principal (Individual & Team), Security Advance & Threat Assessments, Vehicle Movements, Unarmed Combat & Weapons Retention, and Firearms Familiarization & Training. He is also CPR/AED certified and a current POST certified law enforcement officer.

Mr. Greene has provided protective services for VIP events, entertainers, musicians, and politicians. He is trustworthy, dependable and detail oriented in the protective services industry. He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration as well as a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Bryan College in Dayton, TN.
